Dates: March 6th-15th.
Cost: $3200 but may vary due to an increased number of anglers. Does not include personal airfare.
Includes: 10 days round trip of total travel with 7 actual days fishing on the water. Fishing will be a mix of both floating and wading for trophy trout. All guides, meals, lodging, beer & wine is included in your trip cost.
Not Included: Personal tackle, gratuities for the guides, and airfare. DRO has a fairly good connection in the travel industry and can usually get good rates on flight.
Sample Itenerary
March 6th - Fly out of your US airport and start your Argentina adventure.
March 7th - Arrive in San Martin de los Andes. We will do a short float trip down the Chimehuin River and have a welcome dinner.
March 8th - Float the Collon Cura for the spectacular Minnow hatch and will camp at night on the River. Species will include both Rainbow & Brown Trout.
March 9th - Float the Collon Cura for the spectacular Minnow hatch. Again you will have camp along the river. Species will include both Rainbow & Brown Trout.
March 10th - Float the final stretch of the Collon Cura for the spectacular Minnow hatch. You will return to the lodge in San Martin at the end of the day.
March 11th - Wade fish the Malleo River. This is a small to medium size stream excellent for Dries. We will fish several sections of this river during the day to encompass both dry fly fishing and nymphing.
March 12th - Float from the junction of the Malleo on the lower Alumine. Great section to catch large fish on dries.
March 13th - Wade the Caleufu River. This is a medium size river where the fish are feeding on minnows. Species of both Rainbow & Brown Trout.
March 14th - We will enjoy a couple of hours of shopping in San Martin and then transfer to Chapelco Airport for return.
March 15th - Arrive back in to the States at your original airport.
