Join us as we travel west to one of the finest trout fisheries in the continental United States for an unforgettable week of first-class fly fishing. Our destination is the legendary waters surrounding Ennis, Montana—where the sign entering town famously reads: Population 660 people, 11,000,000 trout. This area is home to some of the most storied trout rivers in the West and offers classic big-sky Montana scenery at every turn.

We will be staying at Rainbow Valley Lodge, a premier fly-fishing lodge perfectly situated along the Madison River. The lodge provides exceptional access to world-class water, comfortable accommodations, and a welcoming atmosphere that has made it a favorite among traveling anglers for decades. It serves as an ideal home base for exploring the region’s legendary rivers and nearby spring creeks.

We have been leading hosted trips to this destination for more than fifteen years and have personally fished these waters since the 1980s. That long-standing experience ensures thoughtful planning, insider knowledge, and a seamless fishing experience from start to finish. Each day offers a new opportunity on iconic stretches of river known for prolific hatches, strong wild trout, and unforgettable dry-fly fishing.

Your hosts will be experienced DRO guides who will help lead you through a true Western fly-fishing experience, offering instruction, strategy, and support throughout the week. In addition, professional guides from O’Dell Creek Fly Shop will accompany the group for three of the days, providing local expertise and ensuring every angler gets the most out of their time on the water.

This trip is ideal for anglers seeking exceptional fishing, expert guidance, and the camaraderie that comes from sharing legendary waters and evenings at the lodge with fellow fly fishers. Includes: 3 days guided float fishing, three days hosted wade fishing, all meals, seven nights lodging, and ground transportation from Bozeman Airport while on the trip and back to Bozeman
Not Included: Montana Fishing License, guide gratuity, transportation from point of origin to Rainbow Valley Lodge and back to point of origin, personal fishing gear, flies and gear from Odell Fly Shop, bar tabs.

*DRO will make every effort to coordinate picking you up at the Bozeman airport (BZN) free of charge. However, if you have a super early or late arrival or departure, you may have to take a shuttle at your expense, as we will assist other clients.

Weather and Water conditions may dictate fishing in different rivers.
