•  Find and identify native plants and wildflowers.
•  Search for and learn about aquatic insects such as mayflies and caddisflies and learn about their important role in the river.
•  Look for rainbow and brown trout, colorful shiners and darters, hellbenders, and other fascinating river wildlife.
•  Learn how the Davidson River watershed works and why healthy habitats support vibrant ecosystems.

Your guide will share tips for identifying birds by sight and sound, explain the ecology of the Davidson River watershed and help you discover the hidden world beneath the river's surface. Every tour is unique, with wildlife sightings changing throughout the seasons.

There is a minimum group size of 2 and a maximum group size of 6. Participants must be at least 7 years of age, and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
