While completing high school in Sandpoint, Idaho; Walker was introduced to mountain trout fishing. He wanted to stay in the mountains, but live in the Southeast. After completing Brevard College with a B.A. in Experimental Education, After college, Walker took a job with an environmental engineering firm, which he soon left to pursue his passion of fishing, and came to work at Davidson River Outfitters in 1999. Now, many years later, Walker serves as the manager of Davidson River Outfitters and the guide service. When not in the states Walker is guiding and hosting anglers in Andros, Bahamas for bonefish and Argentina for trout and golden dorado.
