Wes Sessoms
Wes was born and raised in Western North Carolina. For as long as he can remember he has been the most happy outside. His love for the rivers and creeks of WNC started as a paddler with his home river being the Green River in Saluda/Hendersonville. After getting invited on a guided fly fishing trip in 2015, he has been obsessed ever since. From bushwacking blue lines in the mountains of NC to throwing a handline in the Bahamas all Wes wants to do is be on the water. After 10 years in the beer industry he decided that he is pretty good at turning hobbies into careers and has now joined the DRO team to talk about fishing, tying flies, or what beers pair best with brookies and blue lines.
